[And he drops out of sight, grabbing onto the edge of the windowsill before finally getting out of view entirely.

Being the maestro he is, Ezio moves quickly- already making his way past the line of sight from Caterina's window and finding another window that isn't locked. Even better, it's empty, so he slides right in and closes the window once he does so.

But he doesn't come out of the room just yet. No, let's wait to see what Caterina does first. Then he'll make a move.]

[The first thing she does... is unlock the window. Then she goes to her door, opens it, and leans against the door frame, waiting for Ezio. She doesn't know if he'll actually use the stairs, but since he probably isn't coming in through her window, it's likely he'll be entering through the hall.]

[In most cases? Yes.

But here, he's managed to go to the nearest widow, which happens to be Hope's.

Which connects to a bathroom.

Which happens to connect to Caterina's room.

So Ezio quietly makes his way through the boy's room, careful not to disturb anything in the process, and waits in the bathroom, feet silent as he moves forward. After a quick glance out, he notices she's currently by the door, but he's not going to say anything- not yet.

Not until he creeps up behind her and can only grin with her back to him.]

Are you waiting for someone, bella?

[It would be nice to say that Caterina coolly turned and grinned at Ezio, but unfortunately for her pride she flinched when Ezio's voice came from behind her and not in front of her like she was expecting.

Damn. Of course, the two rooms were connected by the bathroom... she should have thought of that.

Anyway. She'll do that turn and eyebrow raise.]

It seems my fortifications were lacking.

Well then, let's just hope your diplomacy can make up for it.

[Oh hello Ezio. Caterina doesn't budge, she just smiles.]

[And that just gets a smirk from him.]

[Caterina doesn't move back or forward to meet him, she remains exactly where she is.]

[Oh. Hmm. For a moment Caterina looks slightly concerned and she even leans away from Ezio.

But it only lasts a moment. Her smile returns.]

I already did, didn't I?

[When she moves away, for a split second confusion crosses his face, and then, concern of his own takes over. Caterina doesn't show concern like that unless it's something important.

So even when her smile returns, his doesn't. Something doesn't sit right with him.

Ezio tilts his head for a moment, pulling back and looking at her with a question in his eyes, one that is said just as easily from him seconds later.]

Tutto bene?

[No it's okay everything is fine. She just wasn't expecting to suddenly remember Monteriggioni, that's all. She tries to wave it off.]

Sto bene, Ezio. And besides, you asked me not to tell you.

[And he hesitates. She's referring to the future again, and like Claudia, Caterina knows of something dangerous in the future. Ezio wants to know, wants to know so badly but he can't he can't he can't-

...He's thinking too much, Caterina. Grab him before he completely gets lost in his head. Please.]

[Oh she knows the look on his face. She knows it and she's definitely not about to let him start to brood about things he doesn't even know yet. Muttering Gesù Cristo under her breath she takes hold of his armor and pulls him forward and kisses him.

Oh.

Huh.

She definitely felt something leaving her that time. Must have been whatever she accidentally took from Ezio.]

Well.

This is definitely something he should've expected, should've seen coming but was too busy brooding to notice the outside world. Dio mio Ezio what are they going to do with you when you actually go through this and come back.

His current train of thought is derailed as she jerks him towards her and kisses him, body tensing at first due to his instinct as an assassin- to fight if caught. But that ebbs away as his brain suddenly realizes hey, idiota, Caterina is kissing you and you're acting stiff as a plank on a ship, baciarla, stupido! To which he responds in turn and kisses back, pushing back those thoughts of concern and troubled worrying, only focusing on the moment right now.

...and that feeling of his healing power returning is one of the oddest things he's ever encountered since being here. Madre del Dio even after two months he is still being surprised by things in Asgard every day.

To which he gently pulls away, not because of brooding, but to smirk back at Caterina with an 'I told you so' look.]

Ci, I think that will do for now, bella.

[She's a little surprised when he pulls away, but he's grinning at her again. All is well. She raises her eyebrow and steps back.]

Va bene, if you insist.

[Oh but he's not done. Nooooope. Because there goes that mischievous look of his again.]

And what if I didn't?

I don't know. It's hard to predict these things.

Then allow me, because I do.

[Which means he is grabbing her and slipping his arms around her waist, and bringing her back into another kiss again.

And this time, he's not the one breaking it.]

[Honestly Caterina had been wondering how long it would take Ezio to just go for it and she had been rather surprised when he had let it go for so long.

But it's not like she's complaining. Returning the kiss she rests one arm around his shoulders as the other pulls his hood down. And this time she's paying attention just enough so that no more accidents happen. Not this round, anyway.]

[He'd only been holding out for so long because she had held out for so long. And it's Caterina, he knows better. He had to make it worth it.

So while she pulls his hood down, he deepens that kiss as both arms go from her waist to right under her ass, and he promptly lifts her so that she can still keep up with him and his tongue, while just as easily move to the bed. It's easier to keep track of losing clothing there than to just go nuts now and possibly terrify whoever else she's sharing the bathroom with.

Not like he'd care, but Caterina is a woman and she needs some decency.

Still, hope you don't mind him getting straight to the point, mia cara. He's just been antsy over the past two months and without courtesans or someone else to put out with, it's been driving him a bit crazy. At least as a plus, she's about to get some of the best sex in her life.]

[Of course she doesn't mind. Playing around has its time and place and she can tell that Ezio is not in the mood for it right now and that is just fine by her.

When he lifts her she steadies herself by wrapping her legs around his waist and resting her arms on his shoulders.

Even knowing how long he's been here and figuring out that he's been missing this for that long, Caterina is finding herself working to keep up with him. It's not that he's going too fast or pushing too hard, it's just that the intensity has taken her aback somewhat.]
